Age Criteria for Driving Licenses in Sindh

Non-Commercial License: Minimum age of 18 years.
Commercial License: Minimum age of 21 years.
HTV Endorsement (Heavy Transport Vehicles): Minimum age of 22 years.

Medical Disqualifications for a Driving License

You may not qualify for a license if you have any of the following diseases or disabilities:

General Disqualifications:

Epilepsy (seizure disorder).
Mental illness.

Validity of Driving Licenses

Learner’s License: Valid for 1 year.
Non-Commercial License: Applicants can take the mandatory test 42 days after obtaining the learner’s license.
Commercial License: Applicants can take the mandatory test 90 days after obtaining the learner’s license.
Permanent Driving License: Valid for 3 or 5 years.

Test for Permanent Driving License

Theoretical Test:
Consists of 25 questions.
You must answer at least 18 correctly to achieve 72% marks.
Road Test:
Conducted as per the third schedule of the Motor Vehicle Ordinance, 1965.
Qualified testing officers will guide applicants on the spot.
